I love writing and my annual puzzle fix is a brain rest. If you’ve been following along with the other posts here is the final picture and my thoughts.
Puzzle building is like writing a novel. You begin with a lot of scattered pieces / thoughts that can feel a bit overwhelming. As you begin to put things together there is a feeling of hope that you can do this. Midway through the excitement of it coming together sucks you in and you find yourself lost in the project with time passing by unnoticed.
All of a sudden you look up to find you’ve completed the puzzle / novel and step back to enjoy the results. You bask in the glow of completion. Share the excitement. Then it hits you. Now what?
That, fellow authors, is when you start the next writing project. Enjoy the ride. It is always worth it.
