Saying: As nervous as a cat in a room full of rockers.

Usage: Sara Jane was supposed to stand up in front of her first-grade class and tell them about her favorite letter of the alphabet. As the youngest of three children, she preferred to stay out of the limelight and let her siblings test the waters of life. Some called her bashful or shy, others wondered if she could talk, but Sara Jane just didn’t like to stand out in a crowd. Having to speak in class today had her as nervous as a cat in a room full of rockers.

Meaning: Cats love to lay around and randomly flick their tails. When near a rocking chair, the likely hood of their tail ending up under the rocker is extremely high and painful.
